The Jayam Ravi starrer Boologam that went on floors in 2010 was temporarily stalled. But now the shooting is poised to restart. The movie is inspired from real life events of a boxer who hails from North Chennai. Ravi is not alien to performing boxer roles, he was seen in M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi as a kick boxer.
Directed by N Kalyanakrishnan, Boologam will have Trisha playing Ravi's love interest. Hollywood actor Nathan Jones, whose claim to fame include Troy, will be seen in Boologam playing the villain. Boologam will be wrapped up in a stretch of 40-day shoot schedule slated to be held in Prasad Studios, Chennai. Aascar Films is funding the film.
