The poster boy of indie cinema Vijay Sethupathi has landed himself in a plum project to be directed by Jananathan of Ee and Peraanmai fame. Jananathan's next movie - earlier titled Thookuthandanai that underwent a name change - is called Porambokku and will have Jayam Ravi and Vijay playing the lead roles. Known for developing intense movies with complex characters, Jananathan's heroes are anything but ordinary.
Jiiva was supposed to be a part of the film but he couldn't agree on the dates owing to his prior commitments. Jananathan wasted no time in roping in Vijay for the project. Vijay, whose versatility has been proved in movies like Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom and Soodhu Kavvum, also consented to work in Porambokku. An official announcement is expected in this regard.
