Their association during the shooting of 3 has had many a tabloid tongues wagging but Shruti maintained a dignified silence throughout the entire episode. Now, in an interview for the latest edition of Filmfare, Shruti opens up about her relationship with Dhanush.
She calls Dhanush her best friend in the business who has helped her artistically. She remembers how Dhanush had faith in her for the role in 3. "When nobody thought I could do the role, Dhanush stood by me," she said. Shruthi added that it is rare to find a connect with someone and that she gets along well with Dhanush.
The multi talented Shruti is basking in the recent success of her Telugu movie Balupu. Some time back, her Sonakshi Singh reprisal for the Dabangg remake in Telugu, Gabbar Singh has also been declared a hit. She has back to back releases in Hindi - the Prabhu Deva directed Ramayya Vastavaiya and the Nikhil Advani directed D Day.
