When director Prashant Raj took up the remake rights for the Tamil sleeper hit Pizza, it aroused a lot of curiosity but the director is reportedly confident that Whistle, will be novel who added that there is no other similarity between Pizza and Whistle.
Starring Chiranjeevi Sarja and Pranitha in the lead, the film is touted to be a romantic thriller, something rarely attempted in the Kannada film industry.
Whistle will have a simultaneous all-India release today where for the first time a Kannada film will hit theatres in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai on the same day.
