Gautham Menon is yet to begin his Dhruva Natchathiram with Suriya. But before that he will join team X: The Film. The project will be handled by eleven independent film makers and critics which includes Abhinav Shiv Tiwari, Anu Menon, Hemant Gaba, Pratim D. Gupta, Q, Raja Sen, Rajshree Ojha, Sandeep Mohan, Sudhish Kamath and Suparn Verma.
Each one will direct a segment of the experimental project and Gautham Menon will helm the segment written by Thiyagarajan Kumararaja. The Aaranya Kaandam director was supposed to direct the part, but he is now caught up with his next feature film that he is doing for YNot Studios.
Gautham Menon, an admirer of Thiyagarajan’s work happily agreed to the proposal of directing the segment. Sudhish Kamath, who is also directing a part of X: The Film tweeted, “This Kumararaja writes magic. Gautham loves his work that he agreed even before hearing the script. And once he heard it, he was blown!”
This will not be for the first time that GVM has done something experimental as his film Nadunisi Naaygal was labelled as an experiment by the ace director himself.
